NorthWest Student Exchange provides you with a
host family in the country in which you wish to
study. Apply early to ensure the availability of
host families for your exchange! Contact us via email regarding
any application deadlines. There is no obligation to
host an international student in your home for
the "One Way Exchange".

Typically, a Reciprocal Exchange
lasts for one semester, an academic year or even
for only a summer. You and your foreign exchange
partner student are matched as exchange partners
to spend one term in the US together and another
term or summer in the partner student's family
and school overseas. Scheduling which student travels first
is determined individually for each set of
reciprocal exchange partners.

Sponsored placement exchanges are designed for students who can suggest reliable contacts that lead to prospective and acceptable host families as well as local Academic Coordinator where NWSE may not currently have them in place. If the proposed host family and Academic Coordinator meet all of our screening criteria, we will consider them for your academic term abroad. If accepted, you enjoy substantial reductions in our program fees

NWSE individually designs Partner
School Exchanges for groups or classes of high
school students and their teacher. Visit and
explore your partner school and community
overseas for two to four weeks while you live
with a local exchange student and his or her
family. Partner School Exchanges can pave the way
for future international exchanges, study and
careers.

Partner School Exchange.

NWSE offers exchanges to private schools on an individual basis. The cost of the school tuition is added to the listed NWSE program fee. Private school tuition ranges from approximately $2,500 to $25,000 per academic year, depending upon the school you choose. Please contact NWSE now to receive a list of private school profiles, course offerings, and tuition schedules.
